Tunisia Reinforces Position as Emerging Tech Hub

At London Tech Week 2026, Tunisia made a strong statement about its growing innovation ecosystem. The country’s National Innovation Pavilion featured over 40 entrepreneurs and startup founders, demonstrating the dynamism of Tunisian tech talent to international investors.

The initiative, supported by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) as part of the World Bank-funded Innovative Startups and SMEs project, provided a platform for Tunisian companies to connect with global peers. London Tech Week is one of the world’s leading technology events, attracting over 60,000 participants from more than 90 countries.

Strategic Partnerships Enhance Visibility

The National Innovation Pavilion was organized in collaboration with key stakeholders including CONECT, TBCC, and both the Tunisian and British Embassies. This broad support reflects Tunisia’s commitment to international engagement as a driver of economic growth.

Highlighting Investment Potential

Several Tunisian startups garnered significant investor interest during pitch sessions:

• Meliorar (founded by Wiem Jedidi)
• Advocate AI (founded by Ridha Memmi)
• Pwn & Patch (cybersecurity specialist founded by Oussama Lessis)

The CDC sees international exposure as crucial for helping Tunisian businesses scale beyond domestic markets, strengthening their competitiveness through global networks.

Tunisia’s presence at the event was recognized by British officials, including Trade Commissioner Ben Ainsley who expressed support for deeper collaboration with Tunisia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Beyond showcasing individual companies, Tunisia used London Tech Week to promote its broader investment climate. Director General Néjia Gharbi participated in discussions on female leadership at the House of Lords, highlighting the country’s commitment to innovation and inclusive growth.
