Nigerian Startups Secure Spots in Cascador's ScaleUp Program

Nigerian Tech Companies Selected for Prestigious Accelerator

Ten high-growth startups from Nigeria have been chosen to participate in the 2026 ScaleUp Program by Cascador, a leading venture accelerator focused on African markets. The selection comes after a competitive process that saw over 1,000 applications.

The cohort includes companies like Venco (proptech), SunFi (clean energy), ColdHubs (cold storage solutions), EHA Clinics (healthcare), Beauty Hut Africa (beauty retail), BEYOND Fitness (wellness), Ziba Beach Resort (tourism), Tulay Africa (minerals), Maanj Agric (agriculture), and Finger Chops (food production).

Program Benefits and Funding Opportunities

The 12-week program offers tailored support including:

  • One-on-one mentorship from investors and international experts
  • Leadership and strategic planning training
  • Eligibility for follow-on funding through Cascador’s Catalytic Fund (up to $5 million annually)

Participants will also compete for a share of $50,000 in prizes during the Live Pitch Day.

Diverse Cohort Reflects Nigeria’s Economic Growth

The 2026 cohort boasts significant diversity with women leading 60% of participating companies and founders representing five of Nigeria’s six regions. Cascador highlighted this as evidence of Nigeria’s real economy maturing, noting that these businesses are already creating jobs and generating value across key sectors.

“We’re incredibly proud to be part of this program,” said Chude Osiegbu, CEO of Venco. “Our goal is to extend our secure technology platform to new communities across borders.”

Finger Chops founder Adenike Fetuga echoed this sentiment, stating that the selection brings them closer to realizing their vision of building a leading African food manufacturing company.

Since 2019, Cascador has supported over 70 ventures which have collectively raised more than $125 million in capital. In 2025 alone, alumni companies reached over 1.7 million customers.
