Cascador Selects Ten Nigerian Businesses to Accelerate Growth
Cascador’s ScaleUp Program Aims to Unlock Potential of Proven Nigerian Companies
Ten high-potential Nigerian businesses have been selected for the 2026 Cascade ScaleUp Program, a 12-week accelerator designed to help established companies refine their strategies and prepare for significant growth. Chosen from over 1,000 applicants, these businesses represent diverse sectors including proptech, clean energy, agriculture, healthcare, beauty & wellness, tourism, minerals, and food production.
“The next chapter of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial story will be about what happens when proven businesses get the support they need to scale,” said David DeLucia, Co-Founder of Cascador. “This cohort represents visionaries who can grow their businesses sustainably with lasting economic value.”
The selected companies include:
- Venco: Digital platform for community management
- SunFi: Clean energy financing solutions
- ColdHubs: Solar-powered cold storage to reduce post-harvest losses
- EHA Clinics: Integrated healthcare services provider
- Beauty Hut Africa: Technology-enabled beauty retail and distribution
- BEYOND Fitness: Wellness company
- Ziba Beach Resort: Experience-led tourism business
- Tulay Africa: Connecting global buyers with African mineral producers
- Maanj Agric: Linking farmers to financing opportunities
- Finger Chops: Bakery producing and distributing bread nationwide
The hybrid program combines in-person sessions (kickoff and pitch week) with 10 weeks of virtual mentorship, investor access, and expert guidance. Through detailed assessments across finance, operations, legal, and technology, Cascador tailors support to address each company’s specific needs.
“These founders demonstrate the ambition driving Nigeria’s economy,” said Trish Thomas, CEO of Cascador. “We’re focused on helping them unlock their full potential with targeted training, mentorship, and access to our network.”
Companies completing the program will be eligible for follow-on funding through Cascador’s $5 million Catalytic Fund and compete for $50,000 in awards at a live Pitch Day.
