Cascador Selects Ten High-Growth Startups for Transformative ScaleUp Program

Building Enduring African Businesses: Cascador Announces 2026 ScaleUp Cohort

Ten Nigerian startups have been selected to participate in the prestigious 2026 ScaleUp growth program, offered by Cascador – a platform dedicated to supporting founders of transformative businesses. Chosen from over 1,000 applications, these companies represent some of Nigeria’s most promising entrepreneurial talent.

The 10 selected startups are Venco, SunFi, ColdHubs, EHA Clinics, Beauty Hut Africa, BEYOND Fitness, Ziba Beach Resort, Tulay Africa, Maanj Agric, and Finger Chops. All demonstrate proven traction in the real economy and align with Cascador’s commitment to building enduring African businesses.

A Track Record of Success

Since 2019, Cascador has supported 70 founders who have collectively raised over $125 million and created almost 67,000 jobs – including nearly 40,000 in 2025 alone. The ScaleUp program focuses on strengthening leadership capabilities, strategic clarity, and network access for entrepreneurs ready to scale responsibly.

Program Structure & Support

The 12-week ScaleUp program features:

  • Two weeks of intensive in-person sessions (kickoff and pitch week)
  • Ten weeks of virtual coaching for founders and leadership teams
  • Eligibility for follow-on funding through Cascador’s Catalytic Fund (up to $5 million annually)
  • A live pitch day with $50,000 in prizes

Cascador’s partnership with Sterling Bank provides access to local-currency debt, equity, and guarantees.

“The founders in this cohort exemplify the ambition driving Nigeria’s economic growth,” said Cascador CEO Trish Thomas. “We’re focused on helping them unlock their full potential and build businesses that create lasting value across key sectors.” The selection underscores Cascador’s commitment to identifying and supporting companies with proven traction, as opposed to purely conceptual ventures.
