Angola's ANDA Secures $1.2M Funding for Drive-to-Own Mobility Solution
Angola’s ANDA Raises $1.2 Million to Expand Innovative Mobility Platform
A fast-growing Angolan startup is set to transform urban transport with its unique “drive-to-own” model. ANDA, founded in 2022 by Sergio Tati and Joerg Nuehrmann, has secured $1.2 million from BFA Asset Management (BFAAM) through its Kimbo Fund.
The investment will fuel ANDA’s expansion plan, enabling the company to modernize its fleet – including electric vehicles – and scale up logistics infrastructure nationwide. This follows a successful seed round late last year where ANDA raised $3.4 million from Breega and Speedinvest.
Driving Economic Empowerment Through Mobility
The “drive-to-own” model empowers drivers of two-, three-, and four-wheeled vehicles by providing asset financing, training, and support at dedicated “safe stops.” This approach addresses a critical gap in the market for accessible transport solutions.
“We’re excited about this strategic partnership with BFA Asset Management,” said Tati. “The investment will drive growth of our multi-asset fleet and enable us to leverage artificial intelligence to better serve customers at scale.”
Rui Oliveira, CEO of BFAAM, highlighted the transaction as a testament to their commitment to key economic sectors. “ANDA has demonstrated resilience and a clear growth trajectory – precisely the qualities we seek in investments that address structural financing limitations.”
With this new funding, ANDA is positioned to become a leader in professionalizing urban transport across Angola while creating opportunities for drivers and entrepreneurs in the mobility ecosystem.
